Proiectul precedent pentru conservarea șoimului dunărean ('Conservation of Falco cherrug in the Carpathian Basin' - LIFE06 NAT/HU/000096) a fost ales ca unul dintre cele mai bune proiecte LIFE dintre proiectele încheiate și evaluate până în anul 2011. Acest proiect se află între cele mai bune 13 proiecte, totuși competiția încă nu s-a sfârșit deloc. Aceste proiecte vor fi evaluate în continuare și patru dintre ele vor fi alese ca „Cel mai bun proiect dintre cele mai bune proiecte”. Aceste rezultate vor fi anunțate în cadrul unei ceremonii din mai 2012, organizată la Bruxelles în cursul Săptămânii Verzi.
